Annet is an online psychologist at iPractice. She has a calm and open presence which makes the people around her feel at ease rather quickly. Annet seeks to understand you and, without judgement, look for possible solutions that suit you as an individual and help you with the difficulties you’re facing.
During her education Annet pursued an internship in specialized mental health care, focussing on subjects such as depression, self-image, anxiety, depression, compulsion and ADHD. The treatments for these subjects often consisted of psycho-education, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and the development of mental skills.
Annet obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Utrecht University. Thereafter she finished a master in Clinical Psychology at the University of Amsterdam. During her studies, Annet worked as a counselor in psychiatrical clinics, an one-on-one counselor for youth with autism and ADHD and volunteered for Stichting de Advieswinkel to lower the threshold for people to receive mental health services.
