Annet Rietsema
Annet is a consultation room psychologist at iPractice. She has a calm and open demeanor, which helps people feel at ease with her quickly. Without judging, Annet aims to truly understand you and then works with you to find possible solutions.
During her studies, Annet completed an internship in specialist mental health care (specialist GGZ) and worked with a range of issues such as depression, low self-esteem, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and ADHD. These treatments included psychoeducation, skills training, and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). Annet speaks Dutch and English.
Annet earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Utrecht University. She then completed her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Amsterdam. During her studies, she worked as a group counsellor in psychiatry and as a one-on-one support worker for young people with autism and ADHD. Finally, she volunteered for Stichting de Advieswinkel, which aims to lower the threshold for accessing mental health care.
