Frequently Asked Questions

To register and schedule appointments, we need a referral letter from your GP.

Do you already have a referral from your GP?

Usually, your GP sends the referral letter to us via Zorgdomein. We will then contact you to schedule a meeting.

If you have the referral yourself, you can fill out the form below, and we will contact you within 2 working days.

Don’t have a referral from your GP?

First, visit your GP and discuss your symptoms. If psychological help is needed, the GP will send a digital referral to iPractice. We will call you to schedule the intake meetings.

You can register with iPractice via this link.

On average, you can get help faster at iPractice, especially if you choose to do the treatment entirely online.

Would you like to have the sessions in a consultation room at one of our locations? The following waiting times for the first contact are an average indication:

– Alkmaar: around 3 days
– Amsterdam: around 1 week
– The Hague: around 1 week
– Eindhoven: around 3 days
– Groningen: around 3 days
– Nijmegen: around 3 days
– Rotterdam: around 3 days
– Utrecht: around 3 days
– All online: around 3 days

This is the waiting time until the first conversation with one of our psychologists. If you want to start treatment at iPractice, we will schedule a pre-intake with you right away. For this meeting, we ask you to fill out an online questionnaire, so we can start the treatment quickly.

Important to know

iPractice strives to be transparent about the waiting time until the start of your intake and treatment. iPractice believes it is essential that clients with a request for help are assisted quickly.

For VGZ and Menzis insured clients, we currently have a longer waiting time than usual. We can still process your registration and start your treatment within the nationally agreed waiting time. (Screening for ADHD for clients referred by VGZ healthcare mediation can take place in the short term).

When you register with us, we will personally contact you to inform you about the current waiting time, the content of the care process, and when we expect to start the treatment.

For insured clients of other insurers, the short waiting time mentioned on this page applies.

ADHD: iPractice helps you with issues that may arise from attention deficit disorders. The guideline states that cognitive behavioral therapy is the first-choice therapy. iPractice does not conduct extensive diagnostics to solely arrive at a diagnosis. We also do not prescribe medication.

Psychologists at iPractice use elements from schema therapy to help you recognize and break through existing dysfunctional patterns in a short period. If you are looking for long-term schema therapy, it is better to visit another healthcare practice.
