(Translated by Google) I am very disappointed with my experience at iPractice, where I sought help for my ADHD. Unfortunately, I have had some negative experiences that I would like to share. Firstly, my appointments have been repeatedly canceled by iPractice, which has not only been emotionally taxing but has also disrupted my treatment. These cancellations were not only unprofessional, but also eroded my confidence in the organization. What's even more worrying is that I feel like iPractice is giving me more 'ADHD' than actually helping me. My treatment should focus on support and understanding, but instead it seems like my situation is not being taken seriously. After repeated contact with iPractice, I am forced to close my file with them and seek help for my ADHD elsewhere. It's a shame that I had to make this decision, but I don't feel heard or understood at iPractice. I hope that iPractice takes my feedback seriously and takes steps to improve their services. For others considering seeking help from iPractice for ADHD, I encourage you to carefully consider whether this is the right place for the support they need.

Common treatments

Our psychologists in Nijmegen utilize various treatment methods, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Imagination and Rescripting. Annelieke van Zelst-Achterberg has extensive experience treating symptoms such as anxiety, burnout, and negative self-image. ACT is particularly effective for addressing anxiety and burnout.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

During ACT, you develop resilience and learn to better cope with setbacks. There is no fixed treatment protocol in ACT; instead, the treatment is tailored to your specific needs. The psychologist will ask questions to understand your problems, identify where you are feeling stuck, and determine your goals for the future.
