Romano works as a GZ-psychologist at iPractice. His view on psychological treatment is that therapy is about learning how to deal with the unpleasant and undesired reality. This might be about certain events you wish hadn’t happen, but far more it’s about unwanted thoughts and feelings we tend to avoid or surpress. Together with his clients he explores what this undesired reality is and helps them find ways to cope with this. This process starts with acceptance and from there leads to change.

Romano is experienced in the treatment of personality disorders, trauma induced disorders such as PTSS, anxiety disorders and mood disorders such as depression. In therapy Romano is especially focused on the client’s individual needs.
Among other things he is schooled in: CBT, EMDR, IPT, IE and DBT.
