Kitman is an online therapist at iPractice. As a therapist, she has an open-minded and curious attitude in conversations. She is able to create an environment that invites you to safely share your struggles.
By working collaboratively during therapy, you will get to know yourself better and create consciousness in your day to day life. Kitman finds it important to help you get insight in the factors that play a roll in the problems that you are experiencing. Furthermore, she will help you explore your strengths and the values that are most relevant to you. She will motivate you to have a more resilient, faithful and joyful attitude towards life. Kitman uses techniques from CBT, ACT and Positive Psychology. Additionally, she is interested in working holistically. She speaks Dutch and English.
Kitman received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her master’s degree in clinical psychology from the VU University Amsterdam. After graduating, she worked at the Dutch centre of expertise in suicide prevention.
