Saskia Cox
Saskia is a GZ psychologist at iPractice. She completed her degree at Utrecht University and then worked for many years in specialized mental health care (specialist GGZ). In recent years, she has focused on short-term treatments for a wide range of concerns. She enjoys regularly taking part in peer consultation (intervision) and continuing education, which allows her to use different perspectives and methods in therapy. Your help request and needs are always central.
Vulnerability isn’t a bad thing—it’s something beautiful that makes us human. If you notice you’re getting stuck, therapy may be able to help. During the sessions, we try to understand the symptoms in their context (circumstances, personal characteristics). From there, you and Saskia will look together at what’s needed so you can move forward again.
As a psychologist, Saskia is involved, open, and honest, and she approaches the relationship in an equal and respectful way. She stands beside you, but she also encourages you to do the work yourself. In daily life, you’ll apply what comes up in the sessions. Your confidence grows, so you can move forward again on your own strength and with renewed inspiration.
Saskia speaks Dutch and English.
