Lisa Otten
Lisa is a psychologist at iPractice. In therapy, she believes it is important that you can be completely yourself, with everything that entails. Together with you, she seeks to understand the core of what is going on and to determine a realistic first step toward growth and recovery. In treatment, she strives to create a comfortable and safe environment, allowing space for your emotions—and, from time to time, for humor as well.
Lisa graduated in Clinical Psychology from Leiden University. After her studies, she gained experience in specialized mental health care. She has experience treating a range of issues, including anxiety and panic disorders, depression, trauma-related complaints, low self-esteem, and insomnia. Lisa uses evidence-based treatment methods, such as CBT, EMDR, and basic elements of ACT. She provides therapy in Dutch.
