For me, safety and trust form the foundation of our contact. I take the time to listen carefully, so that you feel comfortable sharing what is important to you. I am curious and approach your story with a positive and open mindset.
My approach is both engaged and goal-oriented. Together, we clarify your help request and needs. Next, we set concrete goals, which we work towards step by step. While we focus on your strengths and possibilities, there is also space for your vulnerability. I find it important to connect well with who you are and, in this way, contribute to your personal growth.
I studied at the University of Groningen, where I completed a Master’s degree in Developmental Psychology after my bachelor’s. During my internship, I gained experience in both psychological assessment and treatment. With my background in developmental psychology, I pay attention to how experiences from different life stages can influence the present. By understanding how your development has unfolded, space is created to move forward with new insights and confidence.
