Elise Lok
Elise is an online psychologist at iPractice. She finds it important to create a safe and open environment where there is room for emotions without judgment. Through an equal and collaborative relationship, Elise helps people better understand their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors, and supports them in working step by step toward their goals. She always considers each individual’s personal needs and possibilities, as everyone is unique.
Elise has experience with issues such as low mood, anxiety, stress, insecurity, and performance pressure. In her work, she uses elements from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Positive Psychology. Elise speaks both Dutch and English.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Health Psychology from Radboud University.
